Privacy policy

Plain English, like everything else here. Last updated 10 July 2026.

1. Who we are

RaceCarsHire (racecarshire.com) is an Australian marketplace connecting drivers with race teams. Questions about this policy go to admin@racecarshire.com.

2. What we collect

Drivers: your name, email, phone, state, racing experience, licence details and racing background, so teams can decide on your booking requests. Teams: your contact details, listing content, availability, car photos and payout account details (account name, BSB, account number, ABN) so we can pass on your share of bookings. Advertisers and registrations: the contact details you submit in those forms.

3. How we use it

To run the marketplace: showing listings, sending booking requests to the right team, paying teams their share and contacting you about your account or bookings. We do not sell your information and we do not send marketing you have not asked for.

4. What other users see

When you request a car, the team receives your driver profile including your contact details, licence information and racing background. That is the point of the profile: teams decide who drives their car. Team listings, availability and car photos are public. Payout details are never visible to anyone except the team that owns them and RaceCarsHire.

5. Where it lives

Your data is stored with Supabase in Sydney, Australia, protected by row-level security so each account can only read its own records. The site is delivered by Cloudflare. Payments, when they launch, are processed by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use browser storage only to keep you signed in. No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics cookies.

7. Your rights

You can see and edit your profile any time from your account. To export or delete your data entirely, email admin@racecarshire.com and we will action it within 30 days.

8. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will note it here with a new date. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
